Jin Akino’s Works featured in the artistic and cultural activity support project “Cheer to Art! Tokyo Project”
Jin Akino’s project was accepted by the artistic and cultural activity support project “Cheer to Art! Tokyo Project” and our video work was published!
In the series titled “Stream and Life,” I create works that express human consciousness and emotions through depictions of shapes created by the flow of water.
The flow of water, which has no clear shape, never stays in place, and never repeats the same state, feels exactly like human consciousness and emotions.
Human consciousness and emotions can be simply defined in words as “joy”, “anger”, “sadness”, and “pleasure”, but in reality, they change over time and are difficult to even be aware of clearly. I think so.
“Stream and Life” expresses ambiguous movements (subtleties) of consciousness and emotions by arranging three photographs.
