{"id":1734,"date":"2019-07-18T20:50:01","date_gmt":"2019-07-18T11:50:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jinakino.com\/en\/?page_id=1734"},"modified":"2019-07-18T20:50:01","modified_gmt":"2019-07-18T11:50:01","slug":"kalon-mosque-kalon-minaret","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.jinakino.com\/en\/kalon-mosque-kalon-minaret\/","title":{"rendered":"Bukhara | Kalon Mosque, Kalon Minaret"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><midashi1>Bukhara | Kalon Mosque, Kalon Minaret <\/midashi1><\/p>\n<p><midashi2>General Information<\/midashi2><br \/>\n&#8220;Kalon&#8221; means &#8220;big&#8221; in Tajik language, and as the name suggests, it is a huge mosque that more than 10,000 people can pray at a time.<br \/>\nThe mosque was originally built by the Arabs in 795 and the present building was built during the Shaybanid Dynasty period in 1514, and then rebuilt.<br \/>\nThe corridor around the courtyard is outstanding and it was made of 208 pillars and 288 round roofs.<\/p>\n<p>Kalon Minaret is 46m high and is a symbolic tower of Bukhara.
